The concept of the Pyramid composition in photography, also known as Triangular composition or the rule of thirds applied diagonally, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of triangular or pyramid-like compositions can be traced back to classical art. Painters and artists often arranged elements in triangular formations to achieve balance and harmony in their works. Examples are Sandro Botticelli’s \u00ab\u00a0The Birth of Venus<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (c. 1484\u20131486), Raphael’s \u00ab\u00a0The School of Athens<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (1509\u20131511), Rembrandt van Rijn’s \u00ab\u00a0The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (1632), Michelangelo Buonarroti’s sculpture \u00ab\u00a0Pieta<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (1498\u20131499).<\/p>\n\n\n
